Arfor Camping is a quiet family run campsite situated in the historical coastal village of Moelfre on the Isle of Anglesey.

​

We provide self catering back to basic tent pitches for families and couples. We believe in traditional back to basics camping, enjoying family time and exploring the great outdoors.

​

The campsite is located on a 2 acre field with full sea views, overlooking a gorgeous cove with views of Puffin Island and the Great Orme in Llandudno. We are also lucky enough to have the Moelfre Lifeboat Station right on our doorstep, with regular launches and tours available, you'll be right in the centre of all the action. On a calm summers day you may even be lucky enough to see porpoises or seals swimming past in the bay.

We have a wonderful coastal footpath on the lower part of the field which will give all members of the family something to talk about. The picturesque village itself, the numerous beaches, the statue of famous Lifeboat Coxswain Richard Evans who was awarded numerous prestigious awards for his bravery during his time on the Moelfre Lifeboat, and the possibility of witnessing the shipwreck of the Royal Charter a steam clipper which was wrecked off the beach of Porth Alerth in Dulas Bay on 26th October 1859 or the remains of the Hindlea which tragically wrecked exactly 100 years later in Moelfre close to the Moelfre Island.

The nearest beaches to us are Moelfre Beach and Swnt beach which are less than a 5 minute walk from the campsite.

Located close by are the local eateries which include Ann's Pantry a quaint café serving delicious food throughout the day, the Kinnmel Pub with its spectacular beach views, the Coastal Café chip shop which is highly recommended on trip advisor, the Moelfre ice cream parlour on the sea front serving fresh local hand scooped ice creams and lastly 'Y Siop' has recently opened a cafe, serving pastries, cakes and deli options, all options are also available for takeaway, this makes it the perfect pitstop whilst exploring our village.

We may not be the most glamorous site, but pride ourselves on good old fashioned camping, where the family will make memories to remember for years to come.
